Mitsubishi Electric sets a high bar for who can install and service its equipment under the Diamond Contractor program — and Omega Air meets it. As a certified Mitsubishi Diamond Contractor in San Diego, we are factory-authorized to install, service, and support the full Mitsubishi Electric HVAC lineup, from single-zone mini splits to multi-room Hyper Heat systems and commercial ceiling cassette units.
Omega Air works with the full Mitsubishi Electric product lineup. Our technicians are Diamond Contractor-certified, which means they train directly on Mitsubishi systems — not generic HVAC theory applied to a brand they rarely touch.
Warranty protection. Mitsubishi requires Diamond Contractor installation for the full manufacturer warranty to apply. An installation by an uncertified contractor can reduce or void your coverage before the system ever has a problem.
Factory-level technical training. Diamond Contractors complete Mitsubishi-specific training on installation procedures, refrigerant handling, commissioning, and diagnostics. Our technicians know the Mitsubishi error code library, the correct vacuum and charge specs, and the commissioning steps that determine whether a system hits its rated efficiency — or falls short.
Warranty registration handled for you. After every Mitsubishi installation, Omega Air submits the warranty registration directly with Mitsubishi Electric. You receive written confirmation and a copy for your records.
Access to genuine Mitsubishi parts. As an authorized Diamond Contractor, we source parts through the official Mitsubishi Electric supply chain. No gray-market components, no compatibility guesswork, no voided warranties from unapproved repairs.
Accountability. Diamond Contractor status is maintained through ongoing performance standards. Mitsubishi tracks installation quality and customer outcomes. If we do poor work, we lose the designation. That accountability is baked into every job we take on.
Hyper Heat (H2i) delivers full rated heating capacity at 5°F and continues operating down to -22°F. For most coastal San Diego neighborhoods a standard heat pump is sufficient. For inland areas like Escondido, Ramona, or Alpine where winter nights drop into the 30s, Hyper Heat is the better choice.
We serve the full San Diego County area including San Diego city, Chula Vista, El Cajon, Escondido, La Mesa, Santee, Poway, Oceanside, Vista, San Marcos, National City, Ramona, Alpine, and surrounding communities. For commercial work we also cover Mission Valley, Kearny Mesa, Sorrento Valley, and other business districts throughout the county.
A ceiling cassette mounts flush with the ceiling and distributes air in four directions. It's the right fit when wall space is limited, the room layout makes wall units impractical, or a cleaner aesthetic matters. Common in offices, restaurants, retail spaces, and open-plan homes.

Yes. We diagnose and repair any Mitsubishi system regardless of who installed it. If the original work was not done by a Diamond Contractor, some extended warranty terms may be affected — we'll give you a clear picture after the diagnostic visit.
